GPL: SGS vs TPA on Sat, 9pm - The Epic Battle
Just in case some of you might still not be very familiar with what is GPL really all about, let Jiasimin tell you all about it!
What is GPL?
Asia's First Ever Professional LoL League
Yeah, that's right! Garena Premier League (GPL) is Asia’s first ever regional, fully professional LoL league! Started in May this year, the GPL features the top LoL teams from 6 countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand and Philippines. This league will run for the next 20 weeks with non-stop action over the weekends!
Every team in the league is made up of full-time professional gamers, making the GPL the most competitive League of Legends event in Asia. All our professional gamers have been carefully selected from the very best of the best from their country and had to gone through the one of the most rigorous selection process. You might doubt this, but you too, could become a professional gamer and represent your country!

With national glory and honour on the line, you really can't afford to miss out on the most intense and high-level play as the teams compete to be crowned the kings of Asia.
Why on earth should I watch GPL?
Because.......I won't be playing? Ok, just kidding.
But on a serious note, you ought to watch GPL because we have very exciting match going on later on 26 May, Saturday at 9pm (GMT +8)! The two current titans of GPL, Taipei Assassins (TPA) and Singapore Sentinels (SGS) , standing tall at the top of the table, will be clashing head on later in possibly one of the most epic GPL match thus far! If you are looking into improving your LoL play, then you really gotta tune in later on at 9pm to pick up skills from the pros and also to find out just who deserves to be the breakaway leaders!
So what about TPA vs SGS..?
Well, TPA have been gaining strength over the past few months, with numerous victories and great performances in events such as the GPL Community Shield, and the Nvidia Game Festival China 2012.
However, SGS also have back to back victories in local events, as well as a runner-up finish at the GPL Community Shield, so their form is not to be trifled with either.
So if you've checked out the GPL website, you would know that you can actually find out more information about each individual player's performances, such as KDA (Kills/Deaths/Assists), gold earned and much much more! One interesting fact that you ought to take note then is that both TPA and SGS have not dropped a game at all, and players from both teams currently occupy the Top 5 Individual Performers in the GPL table!
A match up of such GREAT PROPORTIONS is NOT to be missed of cos!
Don't forget to give SGS and the Kuala Lumpur Hunters (KLH) who will be playing against the Bangkok Titans (BKT) in the earlier match at 8pm a shoutout as well and show us your support by watching the stream!
Will SGS.ToFu retain his astonishing record of over 10 kills and less than one death per game, or will Bebe be able to shatter that with another amazing performance as the AD carry for TPA?
