All you need to know about watching SGCL 201806.06.2018

TL;DR:

  • Singapore Campus League (SGCL) 2018 Playoffs start this weekend on June 9 at 3PM SGT - and yes, they'll be live-streamed!
  • The quarterfinalists for A/B Division will be introduced in-depth over the next two weeks!

When is SGCL 2018?

When does SGCL 2018 start?

The first match of SGCL will start on June 9 at 3:00 PM SGT. This weekend will be solely for A Division Quarterfinals.

How long will SGCL be?

Get ready for some SGCL action for the entirety of June! We’re bringing you action-packed matches every weekend from now till 1st July.

Compared to last year, it’s a lot more compact as our playoffs will be following a Single Elimination format.

What time are the matches?

Every match day will consist of two Best-of-3 series. The first Bo3 will usually start at 3PM and the second one will follow at 6PM (unless the first Bo3 runs long).

The only exception is on 10th June for the A Division Quarterfinals - we’ve rescheduled the matches to be earlier in the day (12PM and 3PM respectively), to make sure that we don’t clash with the Hyperplay Singapore National Qualifier happening later that day.

How do I watch SGCL?

I prefer watching the streams online, where can I watch it?

You can either watch it on the SGCL microsite, our YouTube channel, or Facebook Live!
Pro Tip: The SGCL microsite will be updated soon with all the team profiles, articles about your favourite teams, and you can catch the live stream there too! Feel free to bookmark it! ;)

I’m from <insert School here> too, can I go down to watch them live?!

Yes! All our playoff matches will be played offline and will be open to the public.

Our Quarterfinals/Semifinals will be held at Gam3.Asia @ Marina Square and you’re free to come to cheer your fellow classmates on.

Naisu! Wait, would I have to pay to support my friends?

Nope, entry is totally free for anybody and everybody. However, priority seats will be reserved for competitive players and their coaching staff and the remaining seats will be given out on a first-come-first-served basis.

SGCL Grand Finals

Where will the Grand Finals be held this year?

More information will be released at a later date but we’re really excited at the amount of interest that you’ve shown in our Campus League based off SGCL Grand Finals last year. We are all working even harder to make this year's edition that much more epic! More articles will be released closer to the date about the venue as well as the potential prizes/swag you could stand to win~
