Chawy's Road to Redemption21.04.2017

It has been nearly 3 years since Chawy ventured to Taiwan to compete in the League of Legends Master Series (LMS). While other Singaporean sons have attempted to follow his footsteps, Chawy’s success in the LMS remains a dream to many and a inspiration to the eSports enthusiasts in Singapore.

Having been sidelined to Westdoor in 2016, Chawy is now the preferred mid-lane starter for ahq e-Sports Club for the ongoing LMS Spring 2017 Season. As teammate/rival Westdoor earnestly awaits the chance to reclaim the coveted mid-lane starting position, Chawy and ahq are set to compete in the LMS Playoffs this weekend for a spot in the upcoming Mid-Season Invitational (MSI).

With so much on the line, we can't sit by idly and let our Singaporean brethen fight this battle alone. As such, we will be having our very own English broadcast of the games that ahq will be playing in the LMS Playoffs.

ahq finished the regular LMS season 2nd, with 2 losses dealt by reigning IEM champions Flash Wolves and 1 loss by their potential upcoming opponents for Round 2 of the Playoffs, J Team. The LMS Playoffs follow a gauntlet style format, where ahq is seeded to play against the winner of match between J Team vs Machi. Should ahq win their Best-of-5 series on Saturday, they will have a chance to redeem themselves against Flash Wolves in the Grand Finals match on Sunday.

Here is the current schedule for the LMS Playoffs:

The winner of the LMS Spring 2017 Season will represent Taiwan in the upcoming Mid-Season Invitational in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Catch our local English livestream of the LMS Playoffs this Saturday at 4PM SGT (and Sunday if ahq wins) and support Chawy when he plays!
