LeagueConnect - The Mobile App for League Players 09.02.2018

An all-new way to find teammates to play with, right from a handy mobile app!
Hello everyone! My name is Riot Junch and I’m from the Riot Singapore and Malaysia office. Riot Tunafi (our tech lead) and myself designed LeagueConnect from the ground up to serve a variety of players’ needs - the most important one being the ability to find other League players to play with.
Find a Game Partner/Team Easily
Sign up to the app and log into your Garena and Facebook account, and you’ll be matched with other players who are compatible with what you’re looking for - everything from roles and champions played, maps preferred, ranked or normal, time availability and more - it’s that simple!
We saw that League players in Singapore and Malaysia were posting tons of messages on Facebook and other networks, asking for duo partners or teammates for ranked or normal games. So we thought, wouldn’t it be great if there was a tool that helped players find each other easily.
And that’s how LeagueConnect was born.

In-built Chat
After two players have matched and accepted each other’s requests, jump into chat to share your in-game name and arrange a time to play. The in-built chat is fast, secure, and simple to use.
Hang out in Interest Groups
We’ve also created a few interest groups such as Ranked, Casual Looking for Group, roles (i.e. Top, Jungle, Mid, ADC, Support), newbies, etc. so that like-minded players can connect and chat. It’s fun to be able to talk about the new meta, share tips with others, or even organize custom games together.
In fact, LeagueConnect users are running casual games almost daily in-app, so if you’re looking for a fun party - join the #lookingforgroup channel and get in on the action.
Stay Connected to the world of League
A League of Legends news feed keeps you up to date with all the ongoings on and off the Rift! Videos, gifs, articles, memes, pictures, and more are sent straight to your mobile device for your viewing and reading pleasure. What’s more, you can thumbs up, thumbs down, comment, and share posts that you like.
Sounds amazing, how can I get it?
We launched LeagueConnect as an Open Beta test on Jan 9th, 2018 for all Android users. We’ve gotten an overwhelmingly positive response from the community so far and would love to get as many users on the app, and telling us what they would like to see more of.
If you’ve got an Android phone, play League, and are looking for a good time, download LeagueConnect Open Beta today.
